Mandy brings over 30 years of diverse experience in the education sector, where she has held a variety of leadership roles. She began her career as a Physical Education teacher, quickly advancing to leadership positions. Her extensive experience spans both primary and secondary education, where she has served as Head of Year, SENCO, Assistant Head, Deputy Head, and later, as Headteacher and Executive Head. In these roles, she has overseen a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), Alternative Curriculum Provider (AP), and a secondary school specializing in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH). Throughout her career, Mandy has honed a strong aptitude for managing challenging student behaviours and developing resilient, effective teams.
In 2022, driven by her passion for creating a greater impact on students and educators, Mandy transitioned from traditional education roles to become a behaviour consultant. She also retrained as a Professional Coach, now specializing in supporting individuals and teams responsible for behaviour management in mainstream schools, PRUs, APs, and SEMH settings. Mandy is also adept at mentoring young, aspiring leaders who are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

Testimonials: "The coaching I received from Mandy was exceptional. She assisted me in making connections that had previously eluded me and provided me with a deep understanding of my motivations and values. Mandy is incredibly personable, which made it easy for me to open up and speak honestly—something I've never been able to do in a professional setting before. Her coaching has helped me identify the kind of leader I aspire to be and how to maximize the potential of both myself and my team. I wholeheartedly recommend Mandy!" [Dan - new leader]
"Before working with Mandy I had worked with a coach for the last year as part of my leadership role. This made me a little sceptical about our sessions, as my previous experience of coaching had been ‘offloading’ and then having a chat about how my week has been. However, working with Mandy, we had focused goals every time we met, and she supported me in working out how I was going to tackle them and gave me the confidence and better understanding of what I can achieve as a leader. Mandy coached me in holding myself to account, whilst helping me reflect on the areas I needed to improve on to be the best senior leader I can be. She has helped me to break my 'rescuer' cycle, so I am supporting the people I manage to grow themselves, rather than rescuing them at every hurdle. We also worked on how I can hold people to account, and break that fear barrier when stepping towards challenging conversations. What has been brilliant is seeing that growth continue even after our sessions have finished as she has embedded that change in me, and I am sure it will keep growing! I couldn't recommend her enough."[Leonie - new leader]
