The Edulead feedback process is both confidential and anonymous ensuring colleagues feel comfortable to tell the truth.
1: The leader identifies up to 15 colleagues including a combination of their direct line manager, peers, other colleagues and possibly Governors. 2: EduLead emails all participants a feedback questionnaire 3: Each questionnaire contains 11 leadership criteria with options to rate the leader from 1-5 plus the option to add comments to help the leader understand their strengths and weaknesses in that area. 4: The leader completes the same questionnaire about themselves with an extra "self-leadership" section at the bottom 5: A report is created and either sent to the leader to reflect on by themselves or preferably, the leader opts to have nine hours of 121 support with an EduLead Coach to go through the report, manage any reactions and discuss patterns. (one hour is a pre-360 "get to know you" call) 6: The leader creates a self development plan to tackle the most pressing issue, which can be used again to work on the next issue (if applicable) |
"The 360 feedback was so valuable. Awareness of the thoughts, opinions and perception of the team around me was incredibly powerful."
The 360 review was so powerful to myself as a leader. Firstly, that I need to and can push myself to be brave; not a skill that comes naturally to me! I was very apprehensive to complete the review; I was very tempted not to do it and even more apprehensive to read the results, but I did and have enormously learnt from it. I will not shy away from this sort of review in the future."
